Rather than the artist's name, our choices are guided by the condition of the work, the quality of its execution, and the story it can tell: that of its creator, the patron who commissioned it, or the subject it depicts. These are the elements that spark our interest and shape the way we look, leading us to recognise that even so-called "minor" artists - or anonymous ones - can surprise us and reveal themselves to be artists of great talent.
